True Prosperity!!!We consider prosperity what we hope for. I invite you to reflect considerably on that statement, i.e., what do you truly desire (hope for) in your life? True prosperity is to have companionship and communion with the Creator of all that exists. That Creator is the One and Only True God that is described in the book we call the Holy Bible. The scriptures contained in the Bible were written by God’s prophets, directed and inspired by God’s Holy Spirit. The Bible explains God has a plan for all His creation. God created many beings and things to serve and fulfill His sovereign will. However, in part, God wanted a companion to commune, serve and love Him merely because the companion chose to do so. That entity He created as mankind. Man was created with a free will to choose his actions. He was not a programmed robot. God, being all-powerful, all-knowing and all-seeing knew man would fall to temptation. This fall sentenced all mankind to a separation from God. In His wisdom, He provided a way for man to be restored to his original status in order that he could have fellowship with God. That way included the sacrifice of His Son, Jesus. Jesus was obedient to His Father’s plan. He submitted to the hands of His accusers and was crucified. He shed His blood as a part of the plan, then, He died. After three days, by the power of the Holy Spirit, God, the Father, raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus became the first-born of many. Jesus carried His blood to the throne room as atonement for the disobedience of mankind. God accepted that sacrifice. Since that time, anyone (mankind) who accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior is born again into the family of God and has fellowship with God and His administration. Although man still has to experience physical death, he is granted eternal life (this is glorious fellowship with God in heaven forever). The goals and hope of many are fame, financial success, family, etc. I say ‘many’! This translates to 'most', when the pride and greed of man is exercised through his free will. Sadly, this situation is true even in what is called 'The Church'. The prophets, and even Jesus, through the Holy Scriptures, warned us that many deceivers would come to steal, kill and destroy what God had provided. That is certainly true today. In many church circles, God is portrayed as the vehicle to acquire riches and wants. No where in scripture is this recorded as true! I suggest that we all examine our hope for our destiny. If that hope is striving for more of God; a closer walk with Jesus; then you will have True and Real Prosperity!!! ![]() We normally don't endorse commercial enterprises.
