THE MASTER PLAN

I know you’ve wondered:

  • where you came from;
  • why you’re here;
  • where you’re going at the ends of life’s road;
  • Is there a Master Plan?

The reason I know you’ve considered these questions is, we all have.

We have been provided the Master Plan. It is contained in the Bible. The Book of Life, published by John Rudin & Company, Inc., of Chicago, calls the Bible the greatest book in the world. Direct quotes from The Book of Life follows.

“It is the divinely inspired record of the dealings of God with men through the centuries. It is not like an ordinary book; its importance may not be over-estimated. To be of any value to the individual and to the world, however, the book must be read.”
“It must be remembered that these words were not all originally in a book. Some were written, but most were spoken before recorded in writing. They were spoken by men of spirituality, or originality, of power, men who walked with God: the prophets who spoke with passionate earnestness the great message of God; Jesus, from whose lips the words of eternal life came in their original freshness and grace and charm; Paul, who spoke to all men, in all places in the wide Roman Empire, in the mountains of Galatia and in the Imperial City.”

If one studies and believes the scriptures contained in the Bible, revelation of the Master Plan will occur.

You will discover God, the Eternal Father of all, through His Son, Jesus, created all things. This creation was done in strict accord with His administration, design and blessing.

We, as a part of mankind, are an important part of this Master Plan. Mankind (we will use man hereafter to shorten the verbiage) was created in God’s own image to be a companion for all eternity. Man was given a free will to decide any issue within the earthly administration.

In order for man to be that companion, God required loyalty and obedience to align with His holiness. He set forth some very simple rules for man to abide by. In His infinite wisdom and by His omnipotence, He knew man would take the path of disobedience through greed. The result of this disobedience was sin entering the world. This caused separation from God and a curse upon all the earth. Now man must make his own provision for food and shelter by the sweat of his brow.

For the Father to re-establish a relationship and commune with man, a price for the disobedience had to be paid. Once this price was paid, the relationship between God and man could be re-established. God, the Father, elected to supply that price in the form of a blood sacrifice from His Son, Jesus.

Jesus, in obedience to His Father, came to earth in the form of a man, subject to all the detriments that man encountered. While Jesus was on this earth in human form, some 33 years, He

  • learned obedience through suffering;
  • was obedient to His Father;
  • demonstrated His Father to the world by His actions;
  • healed the sick;
  • raised the dead;
  • protected the individuals given to Him by His Father;
  • willingly surrendered His life as a propitiation for the sin of the world;
  • willingly submitted to crucifixion and death on a cross;
  • arose from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit;
  • appeared to many as a witness;
  • ascended to Heaven, taking His blood to the Father as an atonement for the sin of the world and to sit at the right hand of God, the Father;
  • today, He makes intercession for all who follow Him.
  • In order to implement this plan, man, using his free will, would need to make the choice to accept the arrangement and agree to follow Jesus. Once man accepts Jesus, the Christ, as the propitiation for sin and repents for his sin, God and man are again in accord pursuant to the original design of God.

    The big difference, the world is yet under the curse for sin until the return of Jesus. At that time He will establish His kingdom and the redeemed will serve Jesus in His administration in the newly created world.

    This writing is a synopsis of God’s Master Plan and meant to encourage you to read, study and believe the Bible as the inspired Word of God. The Bible gives all the details needed for an Operations Manual for life.

    God has Planned the Work, and now the Plan is Working! The rest is up to each of us individually to heed the call of our Sovereign God, the Creator of heaven and earth, the entire universe and everything in it.

    2 Peter 1:16-21 KJV

    16For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
    17For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
    18And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.
    19We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
    20Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
    21For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.
