Cash is Still King with Criminals!

Cash, the long green, is almost a thing of the past, except in the criminal world. There it is still king!

In our fast paced world, we have a tendency to ignore some of the important business basics. At the risk of offending some, we are going to remind you of a few that warrant attention.

  • Investigate the financial institution with whom you plan to place funds.

  • Make sure they are insured by FDIC.

  • Manage your funds to insure your account balance does not exceed the FDIC coverage.

  • Give thorough consideration to the community interests of the institution. This is particularly important if you operate a business.

    • Do they have the same basic business philosophy as you?

    • Are they aggressive or conservative in their lending practices?

    • Do they have the ability to cover your financial needs?

    • Is their decision maker available to you as needed?

The place and circumstance where you keep your funds deserves the same consideration and care you give your spouse!

We think our money is safe! Friend, the fact you do not handle it does not mean your funds are safe!! Risk to your “cash” is greater than ever!

We still:

  • deposit funds in a bank;

  • make payment and withdrawals via check or electronic transfer, and;

  • make purchases with a debit or credit card.

Stay alert! Keep your shield up and ready!
