This About Us Page conveys that Shield Enterprises, Inc. is a for-profit corporation organized under the laws of the State of Wyoming. When we write About Us or any other organization, it should be noted they are only as good and comprehensive as the individuals involved. We are honored and blessed to have seasoned Consultants and Mentors with the credentials to operate in today’s fast paced, complex and even dangerous environment. The efforts of the Shield on Alert Network are headed by a gent we will introduce as “Cal”.

My name is C. D. Haddock; I go by Cal. I am an “Old Codger” with substantial business and life experiences (some of which I would like to have done without).

I have one beautiful wife of 50+ years. Together we have 2 sons, 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

I have attempted to walk with God since 1975. The Creator of Heaven and Earth and all that is contained therein has been mighty loving, patient and caring in my attempts. In it all, He has been faithful to meet the needs of me and my family and ultimately direct my efforts to Him, causing me to grow in the knowledge of and intimacy with Him, His Son, Jesus and The Holy Spirit.

I worked in construction from my graduation in high school. Subsequently I was educated as a Civil Engineer. I progressed into running work as Superintendent and Project Manager in the arena of Heavy Construction (Civil).

I also acted as Superintendent on various missile complexes, Atlas, Titan I, Titan II, and Minuteman. These efforts were located in many of the Western States.

Later I advanced to middle and executive management of various General Contracting firms, functioning as Regional Manager, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Ultimately, I formed my own firm, which operated over 20 years specializing in commercial and industrial building.

A natural progression for the firm was into Construction Management, consisting of turnkey projects, i.e., concept, design, construction and development. The firm also pursued Real Estate Development at various destination points.

My entrepreneurship evolved into Start-Ups and Turn-Arounds. You will find the concept of these business approaches elsewhere in this site.

We have involved others with varied experience in business and life. You will find that these Consultants and Mentors have been with Jesus and their writings and recommendations can be relied upon.

Our Great, Wonderful, All-Knowing, All-Powerful, Loving God of all creation has proved He is Sovereign and is worthy of all praise, honor and glory. It is to Him and His Son, Jesus, that we dedicate this website and its writings.
